How we work

Teamwork.

We’ll build a core team to run the concept strategy sprint and expand it with key operational stakeholders and store employees throughout the process. The individual team members will grow to be the concept ambassadors and will be empowered to foster the acceptance for the changes required to make the concept happen with their peers.

Wave 1 Strategize

This is your future store concept. In a changing world, you need to be very clear on who you want to be for what customer and how your concept is going to stand out from the crowd.

This wave is to determine exactly that.

Wave 2 Conceptualize

Turning your strategic goals in a spatial design that not only looks the part but also hosts unique customer and employee experiences powered by digital requires different skill-sets to come together. We’re happy to facilitate this for you.

Wave 3 Validate

Testing early with actual customers avoids losing time and resources later in the process. We’ll validate any new services, experiences and technologically driven ideas in early prototypes so our late prototypes and the actual realisations later on are understood and loved by the users.

Wave 4 Enable

Our purpose is to make the biggest positive impact on your future as we possibly can. As former retail operators we understand you need more than a slide deck to make things happen. We’ll craft the plan forward, manage the project or take product ownership where it makes sense.

What do we expect from you?

The courage to think different

Involving store employees in strategic exercises might seem counterintuïtive. We promise you it’s extremely valuable to do so.

Short communication loops

The project team will be informed in quick feed like updates over Whatsapp or any other mobile tool you prefer. The updates will be both on progress and decisions to be made. If you move quick we can do too.

Decider

One person will have the mandate to make decisions when the group is stuck. It sounds authoritarian but trust us, it’s not.

Flexibility

We commit on budget and outcome. The process however is not set in stone, we’ll skip steps if we need to and build in new ones if we must.
